Revival was created in August 2020 after recognizing a strong need for a sober active community where those in addiction recovery could belong. Through athletics and wellness we are currently providing a weekly class to anyone in the community that has struggled with substance abuse, in addiction recovery or supports those in recovery. We cultivate physical fitness along with nutritional education into the classes as well as Spiritual health; each class is followed up with a small group discussion . There is no prior fitness or faith requirement for someone to join the classes! Through our Sweat Equity program, we offer low to no cost memberships to Hope City CrossFit for individuals that would like to continue their healthy journey beyond our weekly class .
We participate and support local events that improve the quality of lives , even being award at Public Health Champion of Alamance County in 2023.
Harm Reduction outreach including Narcan and Clean Needle supply, National Save a Life Day Host Site
Care Chest and Care Closet – The Care Chest out front is stocked as requested with items needed and our Care Closet is able to be shopped during our class times!
Shakori 40- local race we participate in every December as a team where we run 40 miles for Recovery and showcase our local business support!
Service projects: We host an annual Backpacks for the Homeless drive, where we fill 100+ backpacks with winter essentials and then distribute to our neighbors in need. Check out our Amazon Wish List!
